I need to buy few rambutan plants to grow in my garden. I have been searching for this all round the country but failed to find out a good plant. Please let me know how I can buy rambutan plant from a place which has been certified by agriculture department of Sri Lanka. I want to buy one from each rambutan variety (Family) namely Malwana Red, Malayan Red and Malayan yellow.

Rambutan – Scientific name Nepbelium Lappaceumul is a tasty fruit grown in topical countries. In Sri Lanka rambutan is grown in Gampaha and Colombo districts and in recent time Kandy, Rathnapura and Kegalle areas also popular for good rambutan.

I used to buy plants from exhibitions at Viharamahadevi park. As it is new year season you may find a big exhibition soon.
