What happened to war crime case against Sri Lanka president ?

A suit was filed against Sri Lanka president Mahinda Rajapaksha by relatives of Tamil Tigers and a humanitarian worker who was in the Sri lanka’s North and East during the war time. The main accusation was that innocent civilians were killed or harmed by armed forces during the war under the regime of president Mahinda Rajapaksha.

If I remember correct this case was filed in a US district court under the the Torture Victim Protection Act passed by Congress in 1992.

I am curious to know the current state of this case against Sri lanka president Mahinda Rajapaksha.
