Voluntary groups or organisations in sri lanka?

I’ve been trying to get myself involved in voluntary work for some time now but i havent found a group or organisation yet. does any1 know of any organisation which raise awareness of HIV/ AIDS, & are invloved in human rights, etc..

I’ve worked and lived in Sri Lanka 7 years ago but sort of forgot or knew of volunteer organisations, you can try asking some priest of Don Bosco, that am very sure for I visit the site being a fellow Bosconian. and like DBTI Tondo out of school youths are being taken care there by these Salesian fathers of Don Bosco.

There are voluntary organisations, and I saw newspaper ads, but my memory is not good. I suggest you to call 1919 and ask whether there is government organization who keep records on organizations like that.
