knad 968

My friend, a German, is going to live and study in Sri Lanka for 3 years. She wants to send her household items, garden tools, professional equipment etc.. in a container so she can start her life straight away in Sri Lanka. Doe somebody know the law pertaining to this? Is this taxable or free of Tax? What is the exact procedure one should follow? Thanks in advance

Dr. Eliyantha White’s official blog ?

Brenda_Maddumage_facebook 1366

Hey folks, Please help me to find out Dr. Eliyantha White’s official blog. Surely not to contact him, but just to see what is there. I now vaguely remember this guy. According to news article he has tried to be a singer before and has run an auto shop in Kalubowila. His face was always familiar to me and I was trying to remember. Is this the guy who was “trying to sing” and was frequently showing face in one of TNL Channel musical program sponsored by Japan Lanka Auto…or something. That was in 1994 – 1995 period. People like this are common in Sri Lanka, Once there was a big hype about Kelum Weerasinghe and those who criticized them were considered as anti patriotic. Now Anyway please give me this “Doctor’s” blog address. Thanks in advance.

Can I use my credit card with a chip (no pin) in Sri Lanka?

James May 1297

I’m planning on travelling to Sri Lanka next month, however I have a few safety concerns about carrying too much cash on me. A co-worker told me it is possible to withdraw money from my credit card without any issues, but I’m concerned because I do not have a CHIP card. So I was never assigned a PIN. Is my co-worker correct about not needing the pin? Many thanks in advance!

Warning. DHI hair transplants are not success. I have had it and only few hair grew. Cost Rs 350,000. Monet wasted. Some few hair grew but after some time all the hair fell out. When I called to complain they hang up and avoid. Even Suraj who done there has now suffered more hair fall. Check his photos on th internet. Dont waste money. Better be bald.

Dr Upendra De Silva at the skin clinic in Bambalapitiya now claims to do hair transplants. This is not successful for sure. Just look even he wears a wig. Why does Upendra wear a wig if he can do good hair transplants. lol. He does not trust his clinics work. Next time if you go his clinic check his wig on head. It is a good wig. He is bald as a cricket ball otherwise. lol.

In my view the best hair transplants in Sri Lanka is in Parakum mawatha, Batharamulla. A few of my friends did it there and good results too. Cost is affordable and team do good reliable work. Got my baldness treated for Rs 50,000 and my hair looks nice now.

Everyone knows people in Sri Lanka are good at throwing mud but poor at praising good work. SO if you want to grow hair visit all the clinics and find the one that best suits you. Good luck.
