When I was watching “Sanhida” program in ITN, a musician called Nandana Liyanage sang “Kombule mage Kombule, Tharadevi Kombule” song. I noticed that he had same facial expressions and singing style very much closer to popular singer Athma Liyanage. First I thought it is Athma and then I realized it is not exactly his voice. But amazingly had same look, just like Athma. I wonder if anyone knows anything about this singer…. The look a like of Athma Liyanage

I am planning to visit my mum in Sri lanka. My mother likes gardening and she has requested me to bring few vegetable seeds and flower seeds when I visit her. I am going from Canada by air and I can easily buy vegetable and flower seeds here in Canada which are very good. I am sure my mum will like to grow them and she will have a good harvest. But I just heard that there are regulations on importing seeds and other live plants and animals to Sri Lanka. I want to know the exact information in this regard as I do not want to run into unnecessary troubles at the air port.
I was planning to buy a Maruti car next month. But like a shock, government increase the taxes. I was planning to buy a Maruti Alto and at that time the price was Rs. 1500 000. My wfe was pushing me to buy it last month and I said let’s wait until Sinhala new year. See what happened ! Now I am thinking to buy a Maruti 800 instead and hope that whatever money I have would be enough. I would appreciate if somebody can post the prices of Maruti cars after the price hike due to changes in import tax.
I recently got a spam e-mail promoting a one web site which claims it is the Sri Lanka’s first ever Q & A site. But I know very well that Lanka Help is the first Q & A site. I became a part of this community almost 2 years back and I surf the internet enough and search about Sri lanka enough not to miss a single web site from Sri Lanka. i visited this site and found out that it has been started very recently. I could not find much information about the domain registration as it is a lk site. People all around the world, specially Sri Lankan expatriates have rallied around Lanka Help and you are doing tremendous job. I am really proud to be a part of the team from the onset. I do not expect anything by helping fellow Sri Lankans in this community. But I would like to suggest some incentives to post question in the site. I know there is the point system but we can give some monthly gift. Our team who comprise experts in many fields can answer most of the questions and it will be a good idea to promote posting the questions. I see that has a good opportunity for me to help more and more people.
I am interested in following a car racing course. I would be thankful if somebody can give me a contact information of a good car racing school in Sri Lanka.

There I use my real name as the user nick..But I have understood there is no security for the users after a long time from registering..The site’s staff (moderators and admins) can see all our private things..Even our Private Messages..So I thougt to delete my account as there is an option of “deleting the account”..But the site owner doesn’t allow the active users to delete the accounts..We only can request the owner to delete the account but we cant do it our own..So can I get legal help for this?
