I have a 8 month old and we have successfully weaned him. We always add little bit of Astra margarine to his foods. We intended to increase energy density by adding Astra margarine. But one of my friend recently told me that it is not recommended to give Astra margarine for children below 3years. But I do not see any health warning in the Astra margarine boxes.
We are really concerned about this issue and have stopped using margarine and instead now we use butter. But I would be thankful if I know the basis for this “not good for children” thing as we have given my child plenty of margarine during the past few months.
