How to make a call from Australia to a mobile in Sri Lanka?

I need to know how to make a call from Australia to a mobile phone in Sri Lanka. I am a bit confused with instructions on the phone card. Can someone tell me what you dial first in order? Do you have to know the codes of Australia and Sri Lanka? Can someone who calls Sri Lanka PLEASE help me? Thanks!

lets say u dial the Dialog number is 0777-123456
First type the Local number given in the card [ for eg 02-12345678] (if u call from sydney)
Then type the PIN given in the card
Then type
001194777123456

When you dialing do not use the zero numbers in the local phone number. Usually following are how Sri Lankan phone numbers.

Dialog mobile : 0777——-
Mobitel : 071—-
etc

All starts in zero. and all numbers have ten digits.

Sri Lanka country code is + 94

So If you are using a direct line or long distance card, following number will work.

+9477—— (Dialog mobile number – See I have omitted zero prefix)

Some times long distance card need to ad +1 before the number. So this is how you should dial. +19477——– (77 for dialog phone but it may vary with individual phone number)
