Foreigner sending belongings to Sri Lanka

knad . Posted in Travel & Tourism 444 1 Comment

My friend, a German, is going to live and study in Sri Lanka for 3 years. She wants to send her household items, garden tools, professional equipment etc.. in a container so she can start her life straight away in Sri Lanka. Doe somebody know the law pertaining to this? Is this taxable or free of Tax? What is the exact procedure one should follow? Thanks in advance

There are over 430 listed waterfalls out of which 270 waterfalls with a height of 10m or more. Probably many more which the height has not being published. For the full list you may refer to Waterfalls of Sri Lanka indexed by Height
