Now Sri Lanka driving license is a two stage process. There is a written test and a practical test. To do the practical test one has to be over 18 year old. Written test can be done at the age of 17 but have to wait until 18 year old.

The written test usually contain regular driving license rules. It includes the knowledge of the road signs and signals. This is usually not a tough exam and reading the instruction booklet issued by motor traffic department will be needed.

It is always better to get the help of the driving instructor even though Sri lankan driving training is much more below the standards in a western country.

So as a first step try to get the Road signals and signs book issued by the Motor Traffic department and prepare. It is not a hard exam. Be cool ! Good Luck !

I did the exam long time back in Sri Lanka ( in 1994) and later after migrating to Canada I did it few years back. There are many similarities in the written exam and hope following link from Canadian driving test preparation site will give you some idea.

If anyone is planning on abortion please don’t. I can look after all the expenses of the mother for 9 months( pregnant period) and will adopt the child. I am not infertile. I am married. But I believe that it doesn’t matter if I don’t give birth to the baby. But a child is a child. If s/he is believed to be mine, then s/he is mine. Will never let them know they are adopted. Will have a child on my own as well. But I can’t bear to see another baby live without parents through out their life in some orphanage. Call 0785638458 if interested.
