Does Sri Lanka Participate in Daylight Saving?

During the summer seasons there is 9.5 hrs of difference between ottawa and sri lanka colombo. What’s the time difference during winter? Does Sri Lanka use day light savings? If yes what happens, if no why?

      No, Most countries around the equator do not observe daylight saving time.

        No Sri Lanka does not use daylight saving. From the UK it’s 5.5hrs ahead on GMT & 4.5hrs ahead on BST as it is at the moment.
