Admin 734

If you were offered a course to study the lifestyle, for example lifestyles of forest dwelling indigenous people by staying with them, would you consider coming to Sri Lanka and following it ? 1. If you are living in a country other than Sri Lanka this questionnaire is for you. 2. About Sri Lanka: This small introduction is for you if you have not heard about Sri Lanka before. Sri Lanka is a country which has a great history over 2600 years. It has world heritage sites, ancient cities, different cultures, wildlife, waterfalls, forest dwelling indigenous people, beaches – a great place to study short term and long term courses. Hello Adil,

I understand your concern regarding your health. Rather than getting 2nd hand information on the internet, I think you should best speak to the nephrology/renal units at various Sri Lankan hospitals and obtain the information straight from the horse’s mouth. You could try the state run National Hospital of Sri Lanka (telephone: 94-11-2691111) – where locals are treated free of charge, I don’t know how it is for foreigners. Or else there are several private hospitals such as Lanka Hospitals, Asiri, Nawaloka and Durdans. You could look up their phone numbers online and call them directly.

No. She is a clinical psychologist, not a psychiatrist. But she will refer patients to a psychiatrist if medication is needed.
