I am getting married in Sri lanka and would like to ship our Champaign over there. Can anyone tell me if this is legal?

  1. Olivander says:

No problem as long as within the duty free limits. Something like 1-2 bottles per person indeed. The duty free staff knows the limits by heart and can advise you.

    According to rules,
“Alcoholic Liquor not exceeding two and a half litres, wine not exceeding two litres and perfumed spirits not exceeding quarter litre per person.”

Alcohol is usually available at duty free shops at airports but better enquire first
