Brenda_Maddumage_facebook 2239

I am planning to visit my mum in Sri lanka. My mother likes gardening and she has requested me to bring few vegetable seeds and flower seeds when I visit her. I am going from Canada by air and I can easily buy vegetable and flower seeds here in Canada which are very good. I am sure my mum will like to grow them and she will have a good harvest. But I just heard that there are regulations on importing seeds and other live plants and animals to Sri Lanka. I want to know the exact information in this regard as I do not want to run into unnecessary troubles at the air port.

What is taught in leadership training (Army training) program ?

Despite the court order to withhold the Education ministry’s leadership training program for the freshers of Sri Lankan universities, Sri Lanka government carried out their army training program as planned. Sri Lankan students and their teachers and parents were apprehensive about this program. Now this leadership program is underway and I saw images of students taking lessons from Army officers. Issuing a media release, Dr. Ranjith Devasiri, the president of Federation of University Teachers Association (FUTA) said that this leadership training program is suspicious. This decision to give a leadership training to freshers is a brain child of Minister S.B.Disanayaka. I wonder whether he has consulted university professors regarding this. According to FUTA , there has been no formal planning for this. As student are attending this training these days, i would like to know what is happening during this training. It is always better to listen to the people who are really going through this experience. So If there is any student who attended this training or their parents please share your experience with us.

Hey folks, Please help me to find out Dr. Eliyantha White’s official blog. Surely not to contact him, but just to see what is there. I now vaguely remember this guy. According to news article he has tried to be a singer before and has run an auto shop in Kalubowila. His face was always familiar to me and I was trying to remember. Is this the guy who was “trying to sing” and was frequently showing face in one of TNL Channel musical program sponsored by Japan Lanka Auto…or something. That was in 1994 – 1995 period. People like this are common in Sri Lanka, Once there was a big hype about Kelum Weerasinghe and those who criticized them were considered as anti patriotic. Now Anyway please give me this “Doctor’s” blog address. Thanks in advance.

Warning. DHI hair transplants are not success. I have had it and only few hair grew. Cost Rs 350,000. Monet wasted. Some few hair grew but after some time all the hair fell out. When I called to complain they hang up and avoid. Even Suraj who done there has now suffered more hair fall. Check his photos on th internet. Dont waste money. Better be bald.

Dr Upendra De Silva at the skin clinic in Bambalapitiya now claims to do hair transplants. This is not successful for sure. Just look even he wears a wig. Why does Upendra wear a wig if he can do good hair transplants. lol. He does not trust his clinics work. Next time if you go his clinic check his wig on head. It is a good wig. He is bald as a cricket ball otherwise. lol.

In my view the best hair transplants in Sri Lanka is in Parakum mawatha, Batharamulla. A few of my friends did it there and good results too. Cost is affordable and team do good reliable work. Got my baldness treated for Rs 50,000 and my hair looks nice now.

Everyone knows people in Sri Lanka are good at throwing mud but poor at praising good work. SO if you want to grow hair visit all the clinics and find the one that best suits you. Good luck.
